the war Erling Ragnvald Brekke (1919-) worked together with
his brothers Bernhard, Alexander and Fredrik in the company.
The Germans imprisoned him for 4 years during the war because
of his efforts for his country.
company was divided into different parts and he took over
the old parent company in Trondheim. A period of great expansion
followed with him as a leader. He established different firms:
Bolighuset Teppebryggen Ltd (1956), Skumplastkjelleren Teppebryggen
Ltd (1963), Nordenfjelske Byggcentrum Ltd (1964) and Skumplastfabrikken
Ltd (1964).This last company gradually became the dominant
part of the business, and was called Brekke Industrier Ltd
from 1986 onwards. In 1954 Erling R. Brekke was appointed
Estonian honorary consul by the exile government in Stockholm.
He has devoted a lot of his time to his interest in transcendental
