Bernhard Brekke AS is the parent company of Brekke Industrier AS, Solhjell AS, Brekke Finans AS and Brekke Balti OU.

Brekke Industrier AS
Brekke Industrier AS, established in 1964, was a leading manufacturer of flexible polyurethane (foam) in the Nordic region. The production facilities in Norway, Finland and Estonia were in 2008 sold to the Belgium group Recticel. Brekke Industrier is today a holding company with its main office in Trondheim. The business areas are real estate investments and industry.

UAB Superlon Baltic
UAB Superlon Baltic was established in Panevėžys in Lithuania in 2002, and produces moulded and integral foam for the furniture industry.

Solhjell AS
Solhjell AS was established in Molde in 1947 by Kåre Solhjell as a clothing manufacturer. The factory grew quickly, and soon had about 100 employees. In the mid-1990s the factory decided to concentrate on a new niche, Norwegian national costumes. The distinctively Norwegian costume has strongly increased in popularity in recent years. Sohjell is now the leading producer of male national costumes in Norway. In the autumn of 2006 a subsidiary company, Solhjell Baltic AS, was established in Estonia, in order to meet the growing demand and to start production of female national costumes.

Bernhard Brekke also owns 25% of the Radisson SAS Royal Garden Hotel in Trondheim, 33% of Garda (a property company with a considerable portfolio of properties in Estonia) and 20% of Trondheim Næringsinvest AS (a local venture-capital company), as well as smaller shareholdings in a number of investment funds and technology companies.
